Tokyo will host a major global technology event next year that brings together developers, investors, and industry leaders under one roof. SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 is scheduled for April 2026 and will focus on four technology domains with direct applications in real-world scenarios.
The event organizes its program around live demonstrations that allow attendees to see emerging technologies in action. Each domain has a dedicated exhibit floor where companies and startups can showcase their latest innovations. Sessions will include speakers who are directly involved in building and funding these technologies globally.
The four domains include quantum computing, AI-driven robotics, advanced materials science, and sustainable energy solutions. Organizers state that these areas were selected based on global demand and investment trends in technology.
Over 500 companies and research institutions have already confirmed participation. The event expects more than 30,000 visitors from over 50 countries. It will take place at Tokyo Big Sight, one of the city’s largest exhibition centers.
Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry supports the initiative as part of its broader strategy to position Tokyo as a global innovation hub. Previous editions of the event drew significant attention from international media and investment firms.
