A prominent Swedish entrepreneur has cut the price of a luxury villa in Oslo’s most exclusive neighborhood and switched the real estate agency handling the sale of a high-end property near Hafjell in Gudbrandsdalen.
The villa in Oslo’s Frogner district, known for its prime location and premium housing, had its asking price reduced by nearly 10 million NOK. The property was previously listed at 120 million NOK and is now priced at 110 million NOK. The change comes as the seller re-evaluates market conditions.
In addition to the price adjustment, the entrepreneur has also changed the real estate agency managing the Hafjell property. The luxury cabin, located in a sought-after ski resort area, was previously listed with Eiendomsspar. It is now being marketed by Meglerhuset in Lillehammer. This shift suggests a strategic move to secure a faster sale in a competitive segment.
The Hafjell property is valued at around 30 million NOK and features high-end amenities including a private sauna, outdoor hot tub, and direct access to ski slopes. The Oslo villa, with its classic architecture and expansive garden, remains one of the most expensive homes on the market in the capital.
Real estate analysts note that price reductions and agent changes are increasingly common among high-net-worth individuals selling prime properties in Norway. The moves reflect both market adjustments and seller urgency.
