The EU-Startups Summit returns to Valletta on May 7-8 for its 12th edition, hosting around 2,400 founders, investors, and corporate innovation leaders. The event spans two days with a structured agenda featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, and an exhibition hall. Organizers describe it as a platform for networking and knowledge exchange among Europe’s most ambitious startup ecosystem participants.
The summit’s program includes sessions on funding strategies, scaling challenges, and emerging market trends. A dedicated exhibition area will showcase 50 selected startups, providing them direct access to potential investors. Past editions have seen participation from over 30 countries, with a focus on sectors like fintech, healthtech, and green energy.
Registration for the event opened in early April, with early-bird tickets priced at €399. Organizers note that last year’s edition attracted 2,100 attendees, a 15% increase from 2023. The summit’s venue, The Westin Dragonara Resort, offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for networking.
Key speakers scheduled include representatives from Atomico, Index Ventures, and Point Nine Capital. The event’s agenda also includes a startup competition with a €50,000 prize for the winner. Side events on May 6 include workshops for first-time founders.
EU-Startups, the organizer, describes the summit as the largest annual gathering of Europe’s startup community. The organization has been running the event since 2015, expanding its reach each year.
