A London-based HealthTech company, Calibre, has exited stealth mode after raising €2.8 million in pre-Seed funding. The round was led by Berlin’s Amino Collective, with participation from Daybreak Ventures, Cocoa Ventures and several founders and operators. The company also introduced a new category called Causal Health Navigation aimed at reducing guesswork in proactive health management.
Calibre’s platform uses data-driven insights to help individuals and healthcare providers make informed decisions. The funding will accelerate product development and expand its team. The company’s approach contrasts with traditional health advice, which often relies on generalized recommendations rather than personalized data.
The startup’s technology analyzes individual health metrics to identify causal relationships between lifestyle choices and health outcomes. This allows users to receive tailored advice instead of broad suggestions. The funding round included investors with experience in health innovation and venture capital.
Calibre’s emergence follows a growing trend of HealthTech startups leveraging AI and big data to improve healthcare delivery. The company plans to use the funds to refine its algorithms and scale its operations across Europe.
The pre-Seed round closed in April 2024, with Amino Collective taking a lead role. Other backers included Daybreak Ventures and Cocoa Ventures, alongside private investors with backgrounds in health and technology.
