Capcom’s PRAGMATA launches today as a GeForce NOW cloud title, letting players stream the sci-fi adventure without buying a console. The game’s lunar station setting arrives on the platform simultaneously with its global release. Nvidia confirmed the integration in a blog post on Thursday, marking the first time Capcom has made a new release available on a cloud gaming service at launch.
PRAGMATA follows the story of a team trapped in a near-future cold lunar outpost, combining survival mechanics with third-person shooting. GeForce NOW users can start playing immediately after the game’s official release, using PCs, laptops, or mobile devices. The service does not require any additional downloads or hardware purchases beyond a compatible device and an internet connection.
Nvidia’s cloud platform has expanded rapidly in 2024, adding over 1,500 games since January. PRAGMATA joins titles like Resident Evil Village and Street Fighter 6, which were also available on day one. The move reflects a growing trend among publishers to test cloud exclusivity for high-profile releases.
Capcom has not announced plans for a physical or digital release on home consoles or PCs outside the cloud service. Analysts say this approach allows the company to gauge demand without upfront distribution costs. The game’s performance on GeForce NOW will be monitored closely for potential future platform expansions.
GeForce NOW’s library now includes more than 2,400 titles, with PRAGMATA available to both free and paid subscribers. The service operates on a freemium model, offering limited free sessions before requiring a subscription for extended play.
